Check it out, check it out!! I created both of these for challenges at Serendipity Scrapbooks. 

The patterned paper is Basic Grey "Euphoria", the pp flowers were cut from a border off the Euphoria elements sticker sheet.

Got Styrofoam? If now ya might want to!  I had so much fun creating this!! I used styrofoam as the base for the mushroom. I drew a mushroom on it an used my craft knife...easy peasy! Then I adhered felt scallop ribbon, to the bottom, of the mushroom top add paper, stamped (Inkadinkado) then embellished. I created the layered flowers using my Cuttlebug! I also covered the background (2/3's of it anyway) with a shimmer tule material!

Non scrappy tip:

Well I know many of us don't like laundry, but my tip for today is laundry related, sorry...LOL!  Okay, wanna get those dingy socks bright white again (and I know it's not just my house so don't even think about it...LOL)!!?? The secret (uh oh watch out Oprah) is dishwasher powder, NOT LIQUID...ok? Use it as an additive and watch those socks brighten up!!

Scrappy tip:

Cosmetic cotton swabs...huh, you ask!!??  Yep! The cosmetic swabs are tightly wrapped cotton AND pointed! I love to use them to make doodling dots, ink the edges of those, daunting, intricate pieces, coloring and blending in stamped images....oh the possiblities!!

So stop by your local drugstore and pick up a pack of a few hundred for less than two bucks. That is the deal of the day!!

Oh and while you are there if you happen to see this clip in my hair in the pic below (sort of a smallish, plastic, banana clip thingy), please get the manufacturer of it for me. I will LOVE you forever!!  I had bought one at Ulta in California last year and recently it was in a basket under my bathroom sink and cleaner spilled on it and ruined it. I have looked EVERYWHERE here and can't find it.!!  I'm SO lost without it   Thank you in advance!

So I looked at my blog on a computer other than my laptop...ummm...what kinda friend are y'all...LOL! Those colors were awful...LOL!  Besides the colors were clashing with the layouts...I wanted a white background with neutral colors. Now to get my banner done...oh and I forgive ya for not telling me! *wink*

Okay, so I've had these Bazzil round cardstocks for a long time...don't know why it took so long to use them! Anyways I had fun!

This one is my WONDERFUL sister and I (she is on the right)...I LOOOOOOVE my sister SOOOO much. This has a very, very, short list of things I love about her. She is so sweet, doesn't have a problem sharing, has a beautiful smile and can dance her arse off! She is SIMPLY the best!! I miss you Marvina aka Marvelous Marv!!
 
Oh and don't you love that white stamp!? I'm soooo loving clear stamps, right now!  Okay, okay...time for the layout...hehe!



Here is another...I did a challenge where I had to use two shades of pink with  black and some stitching (which I do NOT do, so I doodled) and scrap about something I like. This was the result of that:



Looks like black and pink are the color of the day huh!?

CHATTERBOX IS BACK...BIG BAY.BEE!!!

I am singing, I mean screaming (because my singing sucks and I can scream with the best of 'em) from the rooftops!!!

Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE, LOVE did I say LOVE, CHATTERBOX!!!! I even had some framed and displayed in my home at one point...I mean this stuff was DA BOMB (old school) now it ROCKS (you know...new school) LOL!! OOOOHHHH and the name!!  Artsy.licious...now how funky fresh is THAT??!!

Okay, I'm gonna have to dig out one or two old school layouts and show you guys...

Oh and one more thing...I went and pulled out some of my OLD CBX papers (that's for Chatterbox for those of you not "In the know") and WILL be using it!  I NEVER thought I would say this...roflol! I have purged several times, BUT I refuse to get rid of my beloved CBX papers...besides they age like fine wine! Now, I don't drink but I heard fine wine ages well...


ETA: Okay in all my excitement I forgot to add my latest mini project! NO it's not CBX....but just you wait my dear, cuz it will be soon!

This is a mini-clipboard (7x5 and has a stand on the back) I made to sit on a desk. I covered it in fabric...the stem of the large flower is a popsicle stick I stamped on and the flowers(K&Company) have stickles on the edges . I cut the title with Cricut/SCAL and flocked the letters. My first attempt at flocking...the jury is still out! TFL!

Boy did I need some scrap therapy...LOL!  Anyways...

I stamped the butterflies (Inkadoo) and used stickles on them for bling, the chipboard flower has material on it as well as the backing to the letter "G" and the border along the picture (all the same material). The border is punched with the Fiskars heart border punch. The flowers to the left of the picture are foam flowers by Petaloo. Chipboard letters are painted and stamped on or doodled dots. The "O" has Prima flowers and some corrugated card board...the stick pin is by Heidi Grace. I stamped on the pic and wrote on it with a Sharpie!

And, last but not least...

The pp is Autumn Leaves...the black hearts and flower are velvet (cut with Cuttlebug dies), the heart center piece in the flower is chipboard that I inked then stamped on. The flowers are Prima. I used the Fiskars "Threading Water" punch to make the scalloped border, then covered the holes with pearls (KaiserCrafts...LOVE their stuff).

I, intentionally, left the journaling  block (Maya Road sheers) blank as this is a layout going in my daughters personal album and she asked to keep the journaling private.

Okay, I'm in LOVE with 6x12!!!  Makes me feel like I get double usage from my papers...roflol!

Because I've been MIA I feel a RAK coming on...oh and an apology too.  Sorry I had some life circumstances happen and just stuff!  For those of you that don't know...I'm real good at turning off the light switch on drama...even on extended family! Life is too short and hectic as it is...fill your life with positive people and things etc. For those I left hanging...I sincerely apologize!!

With that said: I challenge you to make a 6x12, NO patterned paper, self made flowers and some BLING(any kind)!!! You have until June 15th...hopefully that's plenty of time!

Due to unforseen events I will extend this until July 1, 2008!

Oh and I'll post pix of the RAK in the coming days (In other words I need to decide on what it will be...LOL)!! Don't forget to link it up in a comment...
